Notes: Recipe is from the original Vallejo Family Cookbook. The tale that goes along with this cookie says that a customer of Neiman-Marcus in Dallas had one of these cookies for dessert and asked for the recipe. She was told there would be a charge of two-fifty. She said to put it on her bill. When she got the bill it was for $250.00! Neiman-Marcus did not let her return the recipe so she plotted to seek revenge by giving out the recipe to everyone she knew.
