Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
2 T. canola oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl or jar and mix well. Chill before serving. This recipe makes enough to dress one head of iceberg lettuce.

To duplicate Babe's salad the salad bowls should be chilled. Cut iceberg lettuce into bite size pieces. Put lettuce into your chilled bowl(s). Pour dressing over the top and toss lightly. Grind more fresh black pepper over the top if desired.

Recipe can easily be doubled, tripled or more but it is so easy to make I just make it is really not worth making a lot to store. Should last several weeks in refrigerator without problem... but I have never left any that long.
