2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. yellow mustard
2 tbsp. white vinegar
10 tbsp. ketchup
at least 1 c brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except brown sugar in sauce pan over medium heat. Stir and let cook together for few minutes.
Add 1 cup light or dark brown sugar. I use more. The sauce will turn a burgundy color.
Taste to see if sweet enough. Not, add more sugar.
Simmer about 20 minutes.
Add any kind of ham lunchmeat, pulled pork, shredded chicken, meat balls.
Simmer another 15-20 minutes. Serve on buns.
Store in frig about 2 weeks or freeze. Does not freeze solid but is OK
Can double, triple recipe for large portions

I make sauce and put in crockpot. I add meat and let it warm up. Good parties and holidays. Can make sauce ahead and guests can eat when they want.
