1/4 c. margarine
1 pkg. (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows OR
4 cups miniature marshmallows
5 c. Rice Krispies©

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Cook over low heat 3 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 9 X 13" pan. Cut into squares when cool.

VARIATIONS
Peanut: Add 1 cup salted peanuts with Rice Krispies©.
Peanut butter: Stir 1/4 cup peanut butter into marshmallow mixture just before adding cereal.
Raisin: Add 1 cup raisins with Rice Krispies©.

About 2 cups marshmallow cream may be substituted for marshmallows. Add to melted margarine and stir until well blended. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add cereal, etc., as described above.
