1 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1 package traditional dry yeast

1/2 cup melted butter, cooled slightly
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/4 cup grated old cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion or dill (can adjust to taste)
1 large clove of garlic crushed
2 eggs beaten
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º

Mix first three ingredients together and let rise until 1 - 1 1/4 cup volume

Combine melted butter and sugar.
Add cheese, dill or onion, garlic, eggs and yeast mix and 3/4 cup of flour.
Mix well.
Beat in remaining 1 1/4 cup flour.
Drop by tsp. about 2" apart on greased baking sheets.
Let rise uncovered 1 hour.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 36 -40 puffs.
Freezes well, serve warm.
