1 lb raisins
1 c sugar
1/2 c shortening
3 c water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cloves
3 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together all ingredients EXCEPT flour, baking powder and baking soda. Boil 10 minutes and cool Mix in flour, soda and powder. Line 2 bread pans with wax paper. Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
