3 eggs, well beaten
1 c raisins
1 tsp vanila
1 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
2 c oatmeal
3/4 c chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla and let stand for 1 hour. Cream together butter and sugars. Add flour, salt, cinnamon and soda and mix well. Blend in egg mixture, oatmeal and chopped nuts. Dough will be stiff. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet or roll into balls and flatten slightly. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Note: Do not skip the step of soaking the eggs, raisins, and vanilla for 1 hour as this makes the cookie!
