1 5/8 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
7/8 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3/4 c. coconut, toasted
3/4 c. macadamia nuts, chopped
1 10-oz. pkg. milk chocolate morsels

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
In bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add egg; mix well. Gradually add the flour mixture. Stir in coconut, nuts, and chocolate chips. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Allow to stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely.

Makes about 2 dozen 3" cookies
