1/2 c. Olive oil

1 to 2 lbs. Italian Sausage

Meatballs:
2 lbs. Lean ground beef
4 Eggs
1tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3T. Parsley _ dried
1 1/2 c. Seasoned Italian breadcrumbs
1c.Parmesan cheese
1/4 to a 1/2 c. Water

Sauce:

2 Onions - chopped
2 small Zucchini - chopped
2 T. Garlic - minced
1c. Red wine
4 cans of Tomato puree
3 T. each of Parsley, Oregano. Basil
3 to 4 Bay leaves
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp pepp

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs together and form into balls.

Heat oil in a very large Dutch oven.

Saute sausages and meatballs in oil and brown on all sides. Set aside.

Using the same oil and the same pan the meatballs and sausage were cooked in salute the onions and zucchini for approximately 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and salute for approximately 2 minutes.

Add the red wine and simmer for 3 minutes more.

Add the tomato puree, and all the sauce seasonings, stir well.

Place meatballs and sausage back in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for approximately 2 hours.

Serve with a lb of pasta.
