Beef Tostadas Recipe

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
3 or 4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 1/4 tsp cumin
2 tsp dried oregano
1 c tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup canola or olive oil
1/2 c apple cider vinegar
2 T honey
2 heaping tsp garlic powder
pinch of pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb cheddar cheese
Sliced lettuce
diced tomatoes
salsa, homemade or jarred
refried beans, homemade or canned
Baked flour tortilla shells

Dressing: Add all ingredients to jar and shake until well blended.
Beef: In a large skillet cook ground beef until brown and crumbled. Add onion and cook until tender, add 3 or 4 cloves minced garlic, (3 cloves will be subtle in flavor) Cook for 2 minutes.
Add cumin, oregano and tomato sauce, simmer for 20 minutes.
To make tostadas: Put refried beans on bottom then add beef, cheese, a little dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, more cheese and top with more dressing and guacamole.
