1 lb.Hamburger (browned)
1 Clove Garlic
1 T Parsley
1 T Basil
1- 1/2 tsp Salt
1 Large Can of ;Crushed Tomatoes
1 Jar of (Mids) Spaghetti Sauce
1 6oz Can of Tomato Paste
10 oz Lasagna Noodles cooked to directions
3 Cups of Cottage Cheese
2 Cups of Ricotta Cheese
2 Beaten Eggs
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 T Parsley
1/2 Cup Parmasean Cheese
1 lb Mozzarella Cheese

Preheat oven to 375º

Brown hamburger and add garlic, parsley, basil, salt , sauce, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Allow to simmer for about 1 hour until sauce has thickened

Cook noodles

mix together cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley and parmesan cheese

Use 13" x 9" pan
Place noodles on bottom
spread 1/2 cottage cheese mixture and then layer with 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese
spread with 1/2 the meat sauce
Repeat layers

Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes

This has been a favorite at the cabin and at special family dinners. I usually triple the recipe because it is great to have on hand for busy nights or if you need to give a dinner to a friend.
