1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 large egg
11.5 ounce package Nestle Toll House Chocolate chips
1 cup flaked coconut, toasted if desired
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º.

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar,granulated sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut and nuts. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or until edges lightly browned. Cook on baking sheet for 2 minutes: remove to wire rack to cook completely.
