3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend well. Chill at least one hour. Ok to chill over night as long as the bowl is covered well.
Heat oven to 350. Roll dough out on lightly floured board. Cut with cookie cutters and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until just barely golden on top; 6-8 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
Frost as desired.
