1 lb soft butter
1 box powdered sugar(16 oz/1 lb)
6 eggs
3 C cake flour
2 tsp vanilla or other flavoring
Directions:

Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 15 mins.

Mix butter and sugar.
Add eggs 1 at a time. Beating well after each
Add flour. Mix only until smooth

Spoon into a 9" tube pan. Bake at 325º ofor 1 hour 15 mins. Cool before turning out onto wire rack to cool.
