6 packages of Jello (3 ounces), in different flavors (choose a colorful variety, as you will be creating a rainbow of colors, such as lime green, lemon yellow, orange, strawberry, grape and cherry).

One-Half gallon vanilla ice cream

6 cups water

Directions:
1. Decide on the order that you want your rainbow of colors to appear in and line up Jello boxes accordingly. Dissolve one package of Jello in one cup boiling water, than add one cup of vanilla ice cream and stir until dissolved.

2. Pour mixture into a 9" by 13" glass baking dish and place in refrigerator, until Jello is set, between 15 and 30 minutes.

3. Repeat process for each packet of Jello. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
