Ingredients:  
1 cup butter
1 cup lard (or shortening)
2 2/3 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening with sugar and eggs. Mix in baking soda and flour.
Roll into log roll. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Slice cookies and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly browned.
