1 lb. hot bulk sausage (Jimmy Dean)
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 can tomatoes pureed
2 cans Green Giant black-eyed peas with liquid
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. rosemary

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage, green pepper, onion and garlic in large pan
Drain grease
Add other ingredients and simmer, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.
Serve over rice with cornbread.

I serve this on New Year's day with collards or turnips.
