1 cup shortening
1 cup butter
2 cups peanut butter (one pound jar)
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
5 cups all purpose flour
2 TBLS baking powder
1TBLS baking soda
1 teas. salt

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 375º

In large mixing bowl mix eggs, butter, shortening, peanut butter, and sugars.
Add dry ingredients. Mix well.
Roll into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press each ball gently with floured fork to create crossways design.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

If you want chewier cookies bake at 350 degrees.
