1 pound ground beef turkey or venison
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1 16 ounce can tomatoes or 2 cups fresh diced tomatoes
1 15 ounce can kidney beans
2 cups water
5 teas. beef or vegetable soup base
1 TBLS dried parsley
1 teas. salt
1 teas. oregano
1/2 teas. black pepper
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup macaroni

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and onions in large soup pan. Add all ingredients except macaroni. Simmer until the vegetables are done. Add macaroni and cook an additional 30 minutes.
