MEAT LOAF

1 1/2 lbs ground beef or a mixture of beef and pork (not to lean of meat)

1 med onion (chopped)

1 egg (beaten)

1/2 c. bread crumbs

1or 2 t. of kitchen bouquet or soy sauce

salt and pepper to taste

4T ketchup

1/2 to 2/3 c milk or 1/2 & 1/2

TOPPING:

1/2 c.Ketchup

1 1/2 c brown sugar

Directions:
Mix meat loaf ingredients together and put into a loaf pan. level top flat.

Put some of the topping on meat loaf. Save some for later.

Bake for about 1-1 1/2 hrs. until almost done. Now put rest of topping on and return to oven for 15 more minutes.
