Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

3 lb Ground Beef or Chuck
1/2 lb Mild Sausage
3 Eggs
Small Onion - finely chopped or Onion Soup Mix
1 Small Can Mushroom Pieces
1/3 Cup Chopped Bell Peppers (optional)
1 tsp. each of Salt and Pepper
1 Can Sloppy Joe Mix or Jar of Ragu
Bread Crumbs, Crackers, or Old Fashion Oats

Directions:
Directions:
Put meats in large mixing bowl. Add in eggs, onion, mushrooms, green pepper, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Slowly add Ragu or Sloppy Joe mix alternately with bread crumbs. Put into a loaf pan or a 9X13 baking dish or even an iron skillet.

Bake uncovered with foil, on 450 degrees for about 30 minutes, then turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake another hour or until browned.

You can also add strips of bacon on top before cooking. Let cool before cutting.
