Easy Chocolate Mousse/Ganache Recipe

2 c. heavy whipping cream, divided
2 c. chocolate (can use dark, milk or white choc (~10oz)
1 t. vanilla

put chocolate into a large bowl
bring 1 c. of cream to a boil
pour boiling cream over chocolate
add vanilla
let sit for 1-2 minutes
whisk until smooth
cover and let cool

beat the 2nd c. of cream until soft peaks form
gently fold into chocolate mixture
put into pretty glass bowls and garnish with your choice of garnishes

Garnishes ideas
grated chocolate
mint leaf
seedless raspberry jam to make a sauce, thin with a bit of water or juice

Make a Parfait
layer mouse/berries/moose berries top with cream and mint leaf
layer mouse/cookie crumbs/moose/crumbs use mix of mousse, milk and dark chocolate Ideas
use mouse as a topping for a cake
use ganache
as a frosting for a cake, In between layers of cake
as a frosting for brownies
