Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. roll of breakfast sausage (hot or mild)
1/3 c. all purpose flour
3-4 c. whole milk
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
2 tsp. ground black pepper
Biscuits - your choice of what kind

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage until no longer pink. Reduce heat to medium-low. Sprinkle on 1/2 of flour and stir so that sausage soaks it up. Add rest of flour little by little. Stir and continue to cook for another minute or so. Pour in 3 c. milk, stirring constantly. Continue to cook, stirring frequently. Stir until thickened. May take 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle in seasoned salt and pepper and continue to stir. If it gets too thick, you may need to add part or all of the remaining cup of milk. Consistancy is personal preference. Serve immediately over biscuits.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We call it Christmas gravy because it is part of our traditional Christmas morning breakfast.
