1 C. Vanilla Wafers, crushed
1 C. powdered sugar
1 C. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 C. rum

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together (mixture will be sticky and gooey), drop by full teaspoons into a bowl of regular sugar, roll to coat and store in an air-tight container. Put waxed paper in between each layer so they don't stick to each other.

Although my mom was not a drinker, I would see her knock these back every holiday season! They are best when made a few days before serving, letting them rest in the air-tight container. They are a huge hit on our cookie trays, and many say that they look forward to the rum balls each and every year.
