1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. crisco
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugars. Add egg and blend. Add flour, cream of tartar and soda (sifted together) Last, add extracts. Spoon on greased cookie sheet. Press cookie with glass dipped in flour. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees - 10 minutes.
