6-8 cups sliced, peeled apples
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash ground nutmeg
2 tbsp butter
Pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, spices and a dash of salt. Mix with apples. Place into prepared pie crust. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust, cutting slits for steam to escape. Seal top and bottom crust and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400° for 50 minutes or until done.

This is a good recipe to make in the fall. Prepare everything (except crust) and place in a Ziploc bag and put in the freezer. I generally use 8 cups of apples if I am freezing. When ready to bake take out mixture and place in crust.
