6 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 large onion
4 clove garlic
3 jalapeno peppers; peeled, seeded, and chopped
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
sash cumin
salt and pepper, to taste

Chop first 5 ingredients coarsely. Put ingredients in a medium sauce pan. On low heat, bring to a full boil. Add oregano, cumin and salt & peppper. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Simmer 30 to 40 minutes, until mixture has thickened.
