1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/2 c. cranberries
1/2 c. & 6 T. light rum
6 T. dark rum
6 T. cranberry juice
6 T. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve sugar in water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the cinnamon stick and orange peel; bring to a boil. Mix in cranberries and cook until cranberries begin to pop. Cool; discard cinnamon stick.

Pour mixture in a jar and add 1/2 c. light rum. Chill. Strain syrup into a pitcher and reserve cranberries. Add 6 T. light rum, dark rum, cranberry juice, and lemon juice. Chill.

Serve in martini glasses over crushed ice. Garnish with cranberries.
