Lemon Bars Recipe

1/2 C butter/margarine softened
1 C flour
1/2 C powdered sugar
1/8 tsp salt


2 Tbsp flour
1 C sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp baking powder

powdered sugar

Mix crust ingredients thoroughly and put into 8" square pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned. While this is baking mix together all topping ingredients except the powdered sugar. Pour over first layer and bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top of cooled bars.
