4 cups green beans (cut or french)
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup sour cream

Topping:
2 tbsp butter
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beans in water until almost done. Drain water and set aside. Saute onion in butter, add salt, sugar, flour and pepper. Take off heat and add the sour cream. Mix beans to the cream sauce. Place in a casserole dish. Mix topping ingredients together and put on top of the bean mixture. Bake at 400 F uncovered for 20 minutes.
