1½ c. sugar
¼ c. flour
3 T. cornstarch
3 eggs
3 c. milk
1 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3-4 medium bananas

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients and mix.

2. Add egg yolks, then gradually add milk and stir until blended.

3. Cook over medium heat until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.

4. Remove from heat.

5. Add butter, vanilla and bananas.

6. Cool slightly then pour into baked pie shells.

variation: For Coconut Cream Pie substitute 1 cup flaked coconut for bananas. Add toasted coconut for topping.
