2 c. unsalted butter (Liza uses butter shortening)
1 c. sugar (12.7 oz)
2 c. packed brown sugar (16 oz)
4 eggs
6 c. flour (27oz )
1 T. salt
2 t. baking powder
2 t. baking soda
1 T. vanilla
4 c. chocolate chips

Best if dough is made a day or two ahead, but their fine cooked the day of.

Preheat oven to 350
Line baking sheets with parchment or non stick baking mats

Cream together butter and sugars
Adds eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
Reduce speed to low and add rest of ingredients
Bake for 12-15 minutes
Cool slightly on baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool
