Ingredients:  
1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 stalk celery, diced
parsley & pepper
Tony's seasoning
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 quart tomato juice
olive oil with margarine
Saute about 20 minutes

Add:
1 potato cubed
3 cans pinto beans
2 cans broth
2 cups ham (ham steak cubed)
1 quart water

Simmer all together and when potatoes are cooked, add pasta -- 3/4 cup Didilini pasta
