1 1/2 C sugar
4 eggs
1 C cherry pie filling
1 C butter
2 C flour
1 t lemon extract
Confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Gradually add sugar to butter in a large mixing bowl, creaming at medium speed until light and fluffy. At medium speed add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. At low speed at flour and lemon extract. Pour batter into a greased 15x10x1" pan. Mark off 20 squares with the tip of a butter knife. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of cherry pie filling into the center of each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. While warm, sift confectioner's sugar over entire pan.

Cool, cut into squares and serve.
