1 1/2 cup warm water
1 T sugar
2 t salt
1 package dry yeast
4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 oz melted butter
Veg oil for pan
10 cups water
2/3 cup baking soda
1 egg yolk mixed with 1 T water
Pretzel salt

Directions:
Directions:
1) combine water/sugar/salt in bowl, sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5 minutes until foam forms
2) add flour and melted butter, mix with dough hook on low until combined then on med 4-5 minutes until smooth and pulls from bowl
3) oil bowl and let dough rise 50-55 minutes
4)preheat oven to 450 degrees and line pans with parchment paper, brush parchment paper with oil
5) bring water and baking soda to a boil
6)divide dough into 8 pieces, form into robes, and twist into pretzels (or cut into bites)
7)boil each pretzel for 30 seconds then brush with egg mixture
8) sprinkle with salt and bake for 12-14 minutes
