2 cups chopped mushrooms (I like to use a variety)
1 T olive oil
3-4 garlic cloves
2 T butter
1/2 t dried thyme
1 bay leaf
2 t Worcestershire
1 cup chicken stock
1 T flour mixed in 1 T water
1 cup whole milk
Dash nutmeg
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1) sauté garlic in butter and oil over med heat
2) add in mushrooms and sauté about 5 minutes
3) add chicken stock and bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes
4) add in flour slurry and stir constantly
5) season to taste with salt and pepper
6) add milk and nutmeg, and bring to a simmer
