1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 teas. salt
1 egg
2 cups flour (all purpose)
1 TBLS sour milk
1 teas. baking soda
3 bananas mashed

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream egg, sugar and shortening. Add salt, flour, baking soda, bananas and milk. Pour batter into bread pans. It will depend on what size pan you use how many loaves you get. Grandma usually gets 3 medium size pans.
Bake about 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
