3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 sticks butter
1 bag (12 oz.) chocolate chips
5 or 6 cups flour
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 pint sour cream
3 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup walnuts

Directions:

If the walnut pieces are large, break them in half

Mix butter and sugar until creamy

Add eggs, and mix until lemon colored

Add vanilla and sour cream and mix well

Mix in nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
mix until well blended

Slowly mix in flour

Mix in the chocolate chips

Mix in the walnuts

Drop large spoonfuls onto cookie sheets

Bake at 375 until light brown on top
