2 c - Sugar
3 tbsp - Butter
1/2 tsp - Salt
1 c - Evaporated Milk
1/2 c - Miniature Marshmallows
1 1/2 c (9 oz) - Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 tsp - Vanilla
2/3 c - Chopped Walnuts / Pecans (optional)

In heavy 2 quart saucepan combine SUGAR, BUTTER, SALT and MILK.


Stir constantly and bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.

Continue boiling and stirring for five full minutes.

Remove from heat. Add MARSHMALLOWS, CHOCOLATE, VANILLA and NUTS.

Stir fast until all is melted and blended well.

Turn into pan.

Mark soft candy in squares.

Press nut halves on top of each square.

Cut when candy is cold.
