1 lb.. walnuts
1 large yellow onion
1 to 2 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
A dash of garlic powder
1 egg
2 c. cooked grains ( Tina likes to mix equal parts barley, oat groats, and wheat berries) Brown rice can be substituted.

Directions:
Directions:
Chop the nuts. Cook grains for 45 minutes, mix them with the nuts while still warm.
Chop onion and add to mixture.
Add shredded cheese and egg with the garlic powder.
Mix well.
Put mixture in a baking dish which has been coated with olive oil, butter, or some other substitute you may have on hand or prefer.
Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour or until golden brown on top.
