2 1/2 T. cake flour
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c chopped
1 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix flour and milk. Cook to thick paste. Cool. Meanwhile cream shortening and butter with sugar and salt. Add lukewarm paste. Beat until fluffy. Fold in vanilla and chopped nuts.
Use half for filling between layers. To remainder add powdered sugar.
Frost top and sides of cake.
