2 c Sugar
1/2 c Water
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 c Karo Syrup Light
Dash Salt
1 c Nuts chopped coarsley

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together sugar, karo syrup, water and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Cook to medium ball stage 240 degrees on candy thermometer (about 8 minutes after it starts to boil). Beat egg whites until stiff, beating constantly, pour 1/3 of the mixture into egg whites. Cook remaining syrup to hard crack stage (about 8 to 10 more minutes). Beat this syrup into the egg white mixture until it holds its shape. Add vanilla and nuts; beat 3 to 5 more minutes or until not shinny. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or a greased cookie sheet. Let dry. Store in air tight container.
