1 lb. ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onions
3/4 cup shredded carrots
3/4 cup chopped celery
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. parsley flakes
4 TBSP. butter
3 cups chicken broth
4 cups diced potatoes
1/4 cup flour
8 oz. American Cheese
1 1/2 cup milk
3/4 tsp each salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute beef, onions, carrots, celery, basil, parsley and butter together in saute pan. In separate pan boil potatoes until tender in chicken broth. In smaller saucepan blend together flour, cheese, milk, salt and pepper to make a rue. Once thickened add to beef mixture and then add boiled potatoes with broth and stir all together.

Once I have this all combined I usually put in my crock pot on "warm" keeps for hours. Great for football Sundays!
