1 cup butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
1/4 tsp. dried dill
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
In a medium bowl, blend all the ingredients together. Put into a serving bowl and chill overnight. Serve on crackers. Can be made ahead and frozen.

I love this homemade version of Boursin cheese. If I have extra time, I will often beat the butter and cream cheese until fluffy, then stir in the rest of the ingredients by hand. I like the texture better and it seems to be easier to spread.
