Fried Chicken

4 chicken breasts

1 egg

2 c. all purpose flour

c. milk

tsp. paprika

Vegetable oil


Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper chicken breasts.

Combine flour paprika; set aside.

Beat egg and milk together.

Dip chicken in egg mixture, then dredge in flour mixture.

Heat oil in skillet, add chicken, then cover. Cook over medium heat until golden brown. Turning occasionally.
 

Country Gravy

4 tbsp. oil

4 tbsp. all purpose flour

3 c. hot water

salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Add oil from the frying pan where the chicken was fried. Add flour and stir until brown. Gradually add hot water. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Salt and pepper to taste.
Yield: 2 cups
