1 cup corn starch
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup water
1 egg beaten
salt and pepper to taste

We use vegetable oil. Allow oil to get hot and drop into oil and fry until brown. Drain on paper towels.

My mother Ella Crowell's recipe. She would use this recipe for fried dill pickles and make them for my daughters.
