stick (4 Tbsp) butter or margarine
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup light corn syrup (can use dark)
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
tsp salt
3 eggs, beaten
6 oz. pecan halves (about 1 cups), optional
9 pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate squares in saucepan add syrup, sugar, vanilla, salt, eggs and mix well. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for one hour, or until firm in the middle. Do not over bake; it will make the pie sweat and part from the crust.
If using pecans, put them on the crust before you pour the chocolate mixture in.
