1 lb. ground beef
2 med. onions sliced thin
1 1/2 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 cup chopped celery
1---16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1---15-1/2 oz. can kidney beans
1 cup water
1-2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper

DUMPLINGS:
3 tbsp. firm margarine or butter
1 3/4 cup self rising flour
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir ground beef till brown; drain. Stir in onions, cabbage, and celery. Cool until vegetables are light brown. Stir in tomatoes, (with liquid); kidney beans (with liquid), water, chili powder, salt and pepper.

Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Prepare Dumplings, Drop dough by the spoonful onto boiling stew. Cook uncovered 10 minutes; cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

DUMPLINGS

Cut 3 tbsp. margarine or butter into 1=3/4 cups self rising flour, until mixture resembles fine crumbs; stir in 3/4 cup milk,
