Plan on 4 - 5 pieces per person
Large shrimp -- 15 per pound
1 pound of bacon slices cut into thirds
Wooden toothpicks broken in half (or not)

Directions:
Shell and devein large shrimp. Pat dry. Wrap 1/3 strip of bacon around the strip and secure with toothpick.

Place on a baking sheet. Broil under high heat until bacon sizzles and begins to crisp. Watch closely that the shrimp do not overcook. Much better to serve undercooked bacon than overcooked shrimp! Watch out at the 4 to 5 minutes. window.

This was was served at Jamison's parents' wedding (Jim and Beverly) and has been made countless times since.
