1/2 c corn starch
1/2 icing sugar
1 c flour
1/2 c butter, softened
1/4 c margarine, softened
glazed red and green candied cherries, cut in quarters or in half

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, margarine, sugar and flour together well. With your hands, work the dough until it is light and creamy. Roll into 1" or larger balls. Arrange on a ungreased baking sheet.

Cut each cherry into 1/2 or 1/4 pieces and place cut cherry on top of each cookie. Lightly push piece of cherry into center.

Bake in a preheated 325º oven for about 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Remove from baking sheet.

Makes 3 dozen.
